The main purpose for which the Association was formed is to provide an opportunity for the Maltese living around Hadfield to socialise on a regular basis.

This Association was formed in 1981 primarily through the iniative of Charlie Rich and became affiliated with the MCCV in 2007. The main activity of the Association is a weekly social gathering which starts with mass, followed by light refreshments, having a chat with friends and playing bingo. The Association also organised outings, picnics, dinner dances and other social activities.
