The Maltese Community Council of Victoria has introduced the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) that is here to assist you with day-to-day domestic tasks that you may require assistance with in your home.
The Maltese Community Council can send a Maltese speaking community worker to your home to help you with:
- House cleaning
- Dish washing
- Clothes washing
- Shopping for food or medications
These services are very flexible and can be adapted to your changing needs.
Our aim is to:
- Ensure that all aspects of supports and services for daily living are delivered with care and respect and caters to your own individual needs, goals and preferences.
- Ensure that our staff have the competency, qualifications and knowledge to deliver safe and effective services to promote your health, well-being and cultural diversity.
There is a fee involved with the provision of these services and this depends on how often these services are delivered. All fees are discussed with you prior to your commencement to our programs.
