The MCCV is proud to announce that in collaboration with the National Archives of Malta we will be recording stories of the past from the community at large.
This is a wonderful program where stories are captured on film and audio so that they’re stored and accessible for future generations. We have been working on this program for two and a half years and are excited to make this program available to the entire Maltese Community to participate and store their wonderful stories about their life experiences.
Joseph Matina, our Treasurer, and the manager of Memorja, recently interviewed Mrs Annie Scicluna at the Centre. We have interviewed a number of other people already and are now open to those in the community interested in participating in this program.
If you would like to have your story recorded, please call the centre onĀ 03 9387 8922 and leave a message for Joseph and he will be in touch in due course to arrange a time.
You should note that we will be expanding this program to include stories from the X and Y generations soon. So it’s a great opportunity to get involved.
