Date Club founded: 1982
Association Objectives. The purposes for which the Association was formed are as follows:

• To unite the local Maltese community, and
  
• To provide entertainment for everyone, especially the elderly.
  

Association History
This association was formed in 1982 on the initiative of Alfred Zahra, Joe Camilleri and the late Joe Vella. It became affiliated with the MCCV the following year.
In 2008 the association had 400 members coming from various suburbs of Melbourne. The association embraces many nationalities but remains for the most part Maltese. Their functions include dinner dances, overseas and interstate trips, day trips and picnics.
